RESEARCH & LOCATE

In collaboration with film archives and private film holders, we will locate sources that were yet to be uncovered. The goal is to gain access to documented films that were never examined for lack of awareness, and to save them from further deterioration before it's too late.

PHYSICAL CARE

Each film will be carefully examined, and depending on its condition, it will undergo a process of professional cleaning by a film cleaning machine as well as repairing of it's tears and splices.

SCAN & DIGITIZE

Next, the film reels will go through a scanning machine that each frames convert the soundtrack and each frame into workable high resolution digital files.

PRIORITIZE & RESTORE

Films of significant historic value or artistic merit will be treated with a process of digital restoration. The picture will be cleared of dust, scratches, or other accumulated defects, and then the picture and sound, it will be re-synced with noise reduction, as well as color correction for a complete remastered copy.

CATALOGING & CONTEXTUALIZING

A digital library will keep backups of the newly restored copies along with historic reference, and make them accessible to the public including individuals, researchers, artists, festivals and museum exhibitions.
